Yeah Greg your the laziest blogger in the world, which I swear to God in today's world of FaceBook, where I hear about people I haven't talked to in 10+ years (mainly for a reason) waiting on their coffee to brew every morning, is a good thing.

I wanted to say what a great video of that school you posted was. Unfortunately (while I think kids would benefit immensely from teaching such as that), I doubt the stuffed shirts in Washington D.C. would go for anything remotely so unorthodox.

It had my wife and I thinking back to when we were kids & they would have those Schoolhouse Rock Commercials on in between Saturday morning cartoons, so we YouTubed a bunch of them & I was surprised at how many we remembered...25+ years later. That kind of teaching works, but it is too bad that most people cannot see it. The way we are doing things in America isn't working so great right now.

Thanksso much for the kind words, although please note that I don't feel guilty about anything.

I'm going to check out this O'Reilly format, I've never heard of it before but sounds like it could make good poker watching material!

I have no suggestion for any particular charity.
I'm responding to this post because it is the most recent.

Concerning charities, maybe you feel somehow guilty from having such a prosperous life. But I think your karma balance is already hugely positive, considering your contributions to the United States Chess School, http://uschessschool.com/, the United States Chess League, http://www.uschessleague.com/, and my personal favorite, the 587 free chess videos posted to http://www.chessvideos.tv/

Anyhow, I thought you might enjoy this scrabble video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1aq6sJEuVU

The O'Reilly Ignite format comprises 5 minutes, with 20 slides, 15 seconds per slide, on a variety of topics. It's perfect for the huddled masses of ADHD-addled netizens. Cough, well sometimes we don't have time to watch a 90 minute presentation from ted.com :-)

We've heard your disembodied voice on many many chess videos, plus the two recent interviews, but I think the chess community would enjoy a face-to-face presentation.

Maybe you could consider the O'Reilly Ignite format for a future video.
It's just a thought.

Why do I post anonymously?
Well this blog is about Greg and not me.
